The British Council has launched a major programme of events and activities celebrating Shakespeare’s work in the 400th anniversary year of his death. KKCL has had the honour of being invited to produce a video for ‘Play your Shakespeare’, a digital mass participation project, which will encourage people to watch, create and share content globally on Chinese social media.
Here is a sneak peek of our Shakespeare video: the opening scene from Macbeth.
British Council Japan Tender
KKCL Go Create! English camp is selected by British Council Japan for summer 2016
In November 2015, the British Council Japan asked accredited centres to tender for courses for Japanese high school students travelling to the UK in summer 2016. KKCL is proud to be one of the 7 schools selected from all over the UK.
KKCL Go Create! English offers an integrated experience — language is explored in the classroom and then put into practice in creative projects such as animation, filmmaking and music production. The focus of each project is on using real English to discuss ideas, solve problems and use language creatively.
This unique programme is designed and updated by English language teachers who have professional backgrounds in filmmaking, music and web design industries.
