On Wednesday 4 February, we once more welcomed the inspectors of the ISI – the Independent Schools Inspectorate – to KKCL. The ISI is an agency approved by the Home Office to carry out Educational Oversight inspections of Private Further Education Colleges and English Language Schools in the UK, and they first inspected us in 2012.
After a busy day of classroom observations, document scrutiny and staff and student interviews, the ISI rewarded us with their highest score possible – a 1, 1, 1!
This means that KKCL exceeds expectations in all three of their inspection categories, namely the quality of the curriculum, teaching and learner achievement; our student welfare, including health and safety; and the effectiveness of our governance, leadership and management.
As soon as the report is published on the ISI website, we will link to it, but in the mean time we want to thank all our hard-working, passionate staff for keeping us at the top, and our students without whom none of our success would be possible.
